We run a single safari per calendar month — max 8 aquanauts, sweet spot 4–6. The crew, the villas, the dive ops are yours for the entire month. No competing groups, no crowded boats, no rotation. Twelve safaris a year, period.
Pick the length that fits your vacation — 5, 7, 10 or 14 days. Same crew the whole way. Book your month early; the year fills 6–12 months out.
The short-trip entry — three marquee dives across the east coast, no Pemuteran.
Pemuteran deep — BioRock + Menjangan, BBQ beach, optional Java volcano overnight.
All four dive regions including Pemuteran. Best-value tier, steady pace, mountain route home.
All four regions in full plus rest day + culture day. The package we'd book ourselves.
For the short trip — long weekend plus travel days, or "I want to taste a PMD safari before committing two weeks." Hits the three marquee dives (Manta Point, Liberty wreck, Padang Bai drift). Skips Pemuteran — a 3-hour transfer in + 4.5-hour transfer back would burn a full day on a 5-day trip.

A different kind of Bali safari. Skip the east-coast circuit and base in Pemuteran — Bali's quiet north-west: BioRock restoration reefs, Menjangan Island walls, Secret Bay muck. Sleep in a beach villa, BBQ on the sand at night. Halfway through, cross the strait to Java for Kawah Ijen — the volcano with blue sulfur flames at dawn and a turquoise crater lake. Local wine tasting, jungle thermal baths, Pulaki temple monkeys, waterfall on the way home. The "slow + unusual" pick.

Day 5 is the only optional day of the trip. Pick one — your guide locks it in when you book.
Day 5 choice: Option A keeps you in the water — 9 base dives total. Option B swaps the dive day for Java Kawah Ijen and a sleepless 22:00 → 16:00 round-trip (+$50 per aquanaut, covers ferry + Indonesian park fees + Ijen guide + sulfur mask + transport). Bonus dives: Day 6 can add a night dive on the house reef if seas are flat — free, weather-dependent. Realistic dive count ranges from 9 (Java path) to 12 (dive-day + night dive). Best season: Apr–Oct for Pemuteran flat seas; Kawah Ijen is open year-round but the blue flames are clearest May–Sep. Non-divers can swap dive days for snorkel + Menjangan trekking — the trip works as a couple even when only one of you dives.
Back to all four packagesAll four PMD dive regions — Padang Bai, Penida, Tulamben, and Pemuteran — at a steady pace. Every day either a dive or a transfer with dives. Scenic mountain return via Munduk waterfalls + Bedugul lake temple. The "best value" tier — enough dives to justify the long flight, enough culture to remember Bali wasn't only a dive trip.
Add-ons that fit C: +1 extra Pemuteran day (second Menjangan, turns into 11-day); Ubud cultural half-day instead of one rest moment; Uluwatu Kecak fire dance Day 10; PADI Advanced Open Water during the trip; sunrise dolphins from Lovina Day 7 (4:30 AM, not for everyone). Note: Day 10 is the longest day — pad with buffer if you have a late-afternoon flight.
Back to all four packagesThe ideal length per our own pacing — all four dive regions in full, rest days woven in, cultural days alongside diving, no rush. More dives at each base, weather buffer, every site we'd normally pick. The trip we run when we want it to be perfect.
Add-ons that fit D: surf lessons in Canggu Day 1–2; Bali cooking class in Ubud; daily massage at the villa; underwater photo workshop; Mt Agung sunrise hike (extreme — 2 AM start); PADI Advanced Open Water during the trip. Best season: Apr–Oct dry season; Jul–Sep mola mola at Penida makes the Day 5 trip shine.
Back to all four packagesOne group at a time, always. Either join one of the 16 published safaris below — every trip has a fixed theme, dates, length and price — or book a private safari for 4+ aquanauts with your own dates. Same crew either way.
Status updated weekly. Booking via WhatsApp or email locks your spot — 30% deposit, final balance 6 weeks before arrival.
We borrow the published-calendar model that every liveaboard operator runs. Three things to know before you book:
Each published safari needs at least 3 confirmed bookings to run. We lock that confirmation 6 weeks before the start date (same milestone as final balance due).
Below 3 bookings = sailing is provisional. At 3+ = confirmed — definitely runs.
Why we recommend Allianz Dive Plus or World Nomads.
Pick your own dates, length, and priority sites. Same crew, same villas, same dive ops — totally yours. No surcharge — the min-4 commitment is the only condition.
Use cases: dive club outing · friend group · family · corporate team-building · photo workshop · PADI AOW certification
Plan your private safariIndustry-standard ops are: 4:1 ratio, min 2 to depart, gear rental at IDR 200–250k/day extra, marine fees added on top, insurance optional. We do the opposite on every line.
Max 3 aquanauts per dive guide, published commitment. Most operators imply 4:1 — Bali Aqua publishes it. We go one better.
We don't combine random solo divers into a group. Bring your squad of 4+ or book a month where 3 are already in. Industry minimum is 2 — we won't run a safari with fewer than 4.
Full kit — BCD, regs, tanks, weights, wetsuit, mask, fins — included. Most operators (Bali Diving Academy etc.) charge IDR 200–250k/day extra.
Every dive-site permit, marine-park fee, village fee, temple entry — covered. Competitors price the safari first then add IDR 100k+ daily on top.
DAN dive insurance covers you for every safari day. Bundled in the package price like Blue Season Bali — most operators leave it to you.
30 % deposit locks your month. 70 % balance 6 weeks before arrival. Free cancellation 8+ weeks out, 50 % refund 4–8 weeks, non-refundable inside 4 weeks.

WhatsApp, Zoom or a regular call — your pick. We refine dates, villas, group composition, language preference. No sales pressure.
Books the dates, locks the villas, gets the dive ops onto your calendar.
Final balance, full briefing pack — what to bring, what to expect, group WhatsApp introductions.
Your personal driver's at DPS with a sign and a cold drink. We take it from there.
Most guests book themselves on Skyscanner or Google Flights — Qatar Airways, Emirates or Singapore Airlines via DOH, DXB or SIN cover almost every origin (16–22 h door-to-door from Europe; 22–30 h from the Americas; 6–9 h from Asia/Pacific). If you'd rather not deal with the booking dance, we'll connect you to our Bali-specialist travel agent. No commission, no markup — they often find better fares than public sites anyway.
Pricing depends on season and villa tier — we'll quote you when we talk. No package shows up as a number on the website because we want to actually understand what you want before pricing it.
