No business plan. A few of us kept driving up to Pemuteran to dive, kept going back, started bringing other people. Eventually the group needed a name.
Pimp My Ride became Pink My Dive. The pink is not a joke. Pink is a man's colour and the best one there is.
Two owners, no job titles. Whatever needs doing that day, one of us does it. The only thing that matters is that the week works for the people who came.
If you get a straight answer about money, that was Dan. Mike will tell you himself it is not his favourite part of the job. If someone talks at you for an hour about a dive site, that was Mike.
Both of us are PADI Divemasters with over 800 dives each, and we still dive every weekend, with guests or on our own. Mike has been on Bali fourteen years, Dan three.
