The story

Where everyone starts.

Pos I is the southwest tip of Menjangan and the home of the park's first ranger station. The site spreads across a huge area — gentle slopes, flat sandy bottoms, dramatic drop-offs all in one dive.

Schools of batfish hang in the blue. The shallow zones are perfect for try-dives and Open Water students. Drop deeper and the slope rolls into a wall with healthy soft coral and sea fans.

"One site, every diver level — from first breath to advanced."

If a Menjangan day-trip group has mixed certifications, this is where we go. Easy, varied, no current most days.

Topography

How the dive unfolds.

Gentle sandy slope from 5m down to a wall edge at ~18m. Wall continues to 30m+. Easy navigation — head one direction along the slope, turn around, return.

Plan a typical 50–60 min dive: shallow start on the slope (good for buoyancy practice), explore deeper along the wall to comfort depth, ascend gradually back to the slope, safety stop at 5m.
