Where the cold water meets.
Petty (Pos III) sits at Menjangan's southeastern corner, where two currents meet. The wall starts at 12m and falls past 40m. Sea fans the size of doors, soft coral coverage, and the occasional cold upwelling that pulls in the unexpected.
Turtle sightings are common. White-tip and black-tip sharks pass through. Barracuda schools hold in the current. And once or twice a season, a mola-mola wanders up from the deep.
"Watch the blue. That's where everything good shows up."
Titan triggerfish are territorial here in nesting season — give them space. Otherwise this is one of Menjangan's most rewarding dives for big-fish chance.
