The story

Where the mangroves meet the reef.

Mangrove Point is a shallow drift along the east coast of Nusa Ceningan (the smaller island wedged between Penida and Lembongan), where the mangrove-fringed shoreline meets a hard-coral garden. Gentle current, bright shallow water, easy navigation.

Snorkel-friendly enough that non-diving partners can hop in over the side. We use it as a relaxed third dive or surface-interval site between bigger Penida drifts.

"The dive where roots meet reef."

Shallow enough that no-decompression limits aren't a concern. A long, easy, photogenic dive.

Plan a typical 60 min easy drift: negative entry, descend to 8–10 m on the coral garden, drift gently, surface to peek at the mangrove silhouettes above, ascend gradually, safety stop at 5 m.
