The story

Penida without the current.

Lembongan Bay (sometimes called Mushroom Bay for the mushroom-shaped rock formations on the beach) is on Nusa Lembongan's west coast, sheltered from the strait current by the island geometry. The reef is a gentle slope from 5 m to 15 m with hard coral patches, sand bommies, and steady fish life.

It's the antidote to Manta Point's swell or Tepekong's downcurrents — calm water, easy entry, no surprises. Perfect Discover Scuba site, perfect first dive of a Penida day-trip while the boat refuels.

"The Penida dive your non-diving partner should snorkel."

Open Water-friendly. Pair with Manta Bay for a calm-water Penida half-day, or use as a relaxed lunch-time dive between bigger sites.
