Where the bats live above.
On Menjangan's southern coast, the wall meets the surface — and above the waterline, real bats roost in the cliffs. Hence the name. Below water, the wall is full of crevices and small caves at 9–12m, perfect for photography.
On strong-current days, the wall pulls in big-eye and bluefin trevallies, blacktip reef sharks, and the occasional pelagic. Calm days flip it to a relaxed sea-fan tour.
"Look up at the cliffs. The bats are there. Look down — that's where the trevallies are."
Arguably the most photogenic site on Menjangan. Wall texture, cave shadows, big fish on cue, gorgonians the size of doors.
